Our company handcrafts all products within four to 12 months. Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.
MADE TO ORDER vs. PRE-MADE
Both are handmade but the pre-made is shipment ready while the made-to-order products take four to 12 months to be created for you. Feel free to check my on-line store in case I have something there you may like.
The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.
CARE FOR YOUR NEW PRODUCT(s)
Many items I have already washed and dried in hot water and heat to get all the shrinkage out so you don’t have any surprises. However, I recommend future washing as listed below. Never use bleach as this will break down the fibers.
Cotton items; machine wash with warm to cool water and machine dry using low to medium heat depending on your drier. For Cotton Dishtowels I also recommend not using fabric softeners as this retards absorbency.
Wool items need extra care to make sure they don’t shrink and felt. Handwashing or soaking blankets and scarves with little agitation is best. I use Eucalan no rinse wash. Squeeze, do not twist or wring out the water. Roll in a towel to soak up the excess water; Dry Flat. Wool items may also be machine washed on the wool setting in cold water and laid flat to dry. Scarves and Blankets with fringe; I recommend hand washing with little agitation to prevent the fringe from felting.
Linin items; machine wash with warm to cool water and machine dry using low to medium heat depending on your drier. Ironing/pressing dry while still damp will give a lustrous shine.
Cotton and Linen blends; machine wash with warm to cool water and machine dry using low to medium heat depending on your drier. For cotton/linen dishtowels do not use fabric softeners as this retards absorbency.
Silk items should be hand washed with a mild hair shampoo as silk is a protein fiber and rinsed in clean water. Squeeze do not twist or wring out the water, then roll in a towel to soak up the excess water. Dry flat and iron/press while still damp on the silk setting.
Tencil/ Rayon; machine wash with warm to cool water and machine dry using low to medium heat depending on your drier.
Synthetics; machine wash with warm to cool water and machine dry using low to medium heat. A high heat dryer can damage or melt the fibers.

Lyla Agius Designs is not responsible for duty or brokerage fees for international shipping. These charges come from your country during importation of your package.
* We offer free shipping NATIONALLY with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska on small item orders. Orders from Hawaii and Alaska as well as INTERNATIONAL orders will be the exact fee set by the mail carrier.
Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time. Your product may still need four to 12 months,to be handmade.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective. Additional non-returnable items includes:
*Gift cards; *Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
To complete your return, we require that you return the product within 14 days at your cost. After receipt of item a refund will be sent.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
