Custom orders are a great way to get those hard to find items and textiles that you can’t find in stores or online. Do you need a large tablecloth to fit your table for large family gatherings? Maybe it’s a color or pattern you can’t find to match your dishes or décor. Perhaps you are looking for draperies or curtains in a certain style that’s not available in the local markets. Handwoven bedspreads are also a great way to get closer to what you’re looking for in your bedroom décor. Do you need fabric yardage for clothing construction, upholstery and pillow coverings? Let me weave it for you.
Custom orders are also available for smaller household items such as dishtowels, place mats, napkins and table runners that match your kitchen. They make great house warming presents for your friends as well. Need a baby blanket in a certain size and color? Let me weave these items for you as well.

COST
Pricing varies depending on project. For small household items prices are as follows:
Labor for weaving and setting the loom up is: 6 – 9 cents a woven square inch on the loom before shrinkage and finished hems. Yarn prices very depending on fiber used. All of this is discussed in detail before your project begins. Final cost examples are listed below.
Dishtowels range from $25.00 – $90.00 depending on size and fiber used. My popular cotton towels range from $35.00 – $50.00
Cotton Napkins are about $34.00 each (approximate size 18” x 20”)
Cotton Crib Size Baby Blankets: range from $130.00 – $200.00.
Smaller lap size wool blankets which are also perfect for the car range from $50.00-$75.00
These items include free shipping and may take four to 12 months to complete depending on the waiting list. Feel free to check my on line store in case I have something there you may like.
LARGE CUSTOM ORDERS
Includes tablecloths, bedspreads or fabric for draperies, curtains, upholstery or garment construction. Pricing is as follows.
$150.00 per one square yard of fabric woven on the loom before finishing. This includes labor for weaving, wet finishing and hem work.
$150.00 – $300.00 set up fee plus cost of yarn used (non refundable). This also includes sample work for your approval.
Shipping fees will be added.
Guarantee: If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your product, return it and I will give you a refund for the woven fabric. Set up fee and cost of yarns used are non refundable.
GETTING WHAT YOU WANT
We will discuss your project in detail by selecting the fibers, colors, size and style. Is this to be contemporary, traditional or more formal? We can design your project around your decor such as the artwork on the walls, rugs and furniture style. Is this for a home in the woods, mountains or near the ocean? All of these elements will go into the designing of your project to make sure you get what you are looking for.
Once the decisions are made. A deposit of $450.00 is required to cover the setup fee and the cost of the yarn. Yarn not used will be applied toward the labor of weaving. I will keep you posted with pictures and weekly updates.
All of this can take 1-2 years to complete, depending on final design and size of project. Please note that large custom orders are woven in the order I receive them. Actual starting time will vary depending on the waiting list. Typical waiting time is one year.
